  Food was yummy and didnt take long to be served, however customer service was really bad and made me and my friends feel uncomfortable. When our plates were being cleared we told the waiter we didn't want anything else and we expected the bill to be on its way. We were the only customers sitting outside so we couldn't get hold of staff who were inside the whole time. After 20minutes my friend started smoking and a staff member rushed outside and rudely and patronisingly told her to put it out. We said we'd been waiting for the bill and he carried on lecturing about the cigarette. He then came back out a few more minutes later and told us that we hadn't got the bill because we didn't ask for one - were we expected to go into the restaurant and get it ourselves?! Finally when we got the bill we were left again for 5-10 minutes and we asked our original wait or to split it between 3 people, but it seemed he couldn't really be bothered and caused lots of confusion and said that he'd just take the money as a whole and that we could work the change out ourselves.
  It ruined what would've been a really lovely experience and I advise you to visit another one of the many restaurants in the Newbury town centre.
